So I know we're all grieving about the loss of Roy and his mad skills, but you all know that there is actually real NBA professional basketball happening in less than a month, right? This is cause for celebration!

I just moved to LA in September, and have been looking forward to being able to catch the Blazers a lot more frequently in person than when I was out on the East Coast. As it turns out, they'll be down here right away, on January 1st, to take on (Chris Pauland?) theClippersat Staples Center.

I seem to remember that there are a decent number of LA BEdgers, so if you are planning to be at the game, hit me up in the comments! I'm thinking about grabbing a block of cheap upper deck seats on StubHub, so if you want in let me know and we can have a little Blazer cheering section. In any case, if you'll be there, let's try and find a spot to meet up, perhaps before the game?

When I was in the NYC area, we started a google group for NY-area Blazer fans to watch games on TV and catch them when they were in town -- if anyone is interested in doing that here (or, better, already is doing that here) then please let me know in the comments and we'll figure it out.
